Following tradition, the ICIP 2018 will have young investigator sessions to highlight high quality work representing a wide variety of topics in radiation research. A young investigator is defined as a graduate student, a postdoctoral fellow, or someone in the first year of a potentially permanent position. The selected young investigators will receive support for registration, housing and travel, as funds allow. Selection of speakers will be based on the quality of the submitted abstract. Selected oral presentations will cover topics in physics, chemistry, biology, and industry. In addition, affirmative action principles will be employed to obtain balance in gender and under-represented minorities. All applicants not selected for oral sessions will automatically be invited to present posters.
Apply by sending an Abstract (250 words or less) to Professor Jay LaVerne (Young Investigator Committee Chair, firstname.lastname@example.org). Applications must be received by March 15 and announcements will be made by April 1. Please contact us with any additional inquiries.
